One of the chief financial observers of South Korea has mentioned that Seoul will support Iran’s development of capital markets.

According to the sena.ir quoted by the Yonhap newspaper, the Financial Services Commission Jeong Eun-bo said mutual cooperation with Iran to supply the growing financial needs of the country after the lifting of sanctions, has become more urgent.

Since Iran is working intensively on the development of infrastructure projects, Korea is looking for business opportunities in Iran.

South Korean president visited Tehran in May and met her Iranian counterpart. Industrial statistics show that trade turnover between the two countries in 2015 is equal to $ 6.1 milliard which is less than year 2011 that was $ 17.4 milliard.
